Origin
In 1926 Harold S. Keltner, St. Louis YMCA Director, organized the first tribe in Richmond Heights, Missouri, with the help of his good friend, Joe Friday, an Ojibway Indian, and William H. Hefelfinger, Chief of the first Y-Indian Guide tribe.

This website has two main areas that you can use. 

  • It has public information for anyone interested in finding out more information about the McKinney TX Adventure Guides program. 
    • Legends and Stories of current participants, Smoke Signals from the Longhouse Council, the Why in Adventure Guides, the Origin of the program and the McKinney Nation Event Calendar.
  • And it has a private area that includes a social community for all those that are involved in the Adventure Guides or Adventure Indian Princesses program. 
    • Facebook type functionality in a private group setting, add pictures, video and other media, post on friends walls, find and add friends in groups
